Euchre in the community centre on Monday evening had nine tables News from 4-H CREDITON - The fourth meet- ing of Crediton No. 5 club was held at Rosemary Thompson's June 12. Dianne Kaak, leader, called meeting to order. Julie Kaak, presi- dent, led_ us in the 4-H pledge. Julie then asked the roll call "from your trip to the nursery, name one thing you learned about plants that , would help you at planting time". This was answered by all members. We then discussed when, what time and where the next meeting should be held. Julie assigned members to read planting' time which involved fill- ing in blanks, plants and their pack- aging, planting details which in- volved answering questions, soils, what you should do with problem soil, water which involved answer- ing if the statements are true or false. Stake a tree, staking small Decid- uous tree, staking an evergreen tree, landscaping tools which involved circling, preparing plants for the winter which also involved circling and filling in blanks and home ac- tivity. Refreshments were then served. CORRECTION In last week's Times Advocate, in a photo from Grand Bend declar- ing August 3, as Circus Day in the village, Dianne Mason Lamon- tagne was incorrectly identified as Dianne Mason and given the title of Publicity Chairman for the Chamber of Commerce rather than local promoter for the circus. We applogize for any. inconvience this may have caused.
