Letters to
the Editor
Dear Sir.
With respects to "Mother's Day",
I am submitting a poem 1 wrote on
May 8, 1977. Thanks to the musi-
cal talents of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas
R. Gill of Exeter who wrote the
music this poem was written into a
traditional Mothers Day Song and
first presented at the Centralia Unit-
ed Church of the same year.
I would appreciate it if you might
publish the poem since I doubt you
have the means to publish the mu-
sic.
It has been too long on the closet
shelf.
A Mother's Love
No greater gift can a person share
Than the warmth of a Mother's
Love
No greater blessing can the earth
bestow
Than the warmth of a Mother's
Love.
Her vast domain rules o'er all the
earth
No scales can measure a Mother's
worth
