lbs. and was 21 1/4 inches in

STEPHEN - At Huronview Home,
Clinton on Saturday, April 29,
1989, William P. Stephen, formerly
of Usborne Twp. and Exeter, in his
89th year. Loved husband of the
late Martha Mauretta (Penwarden)
(1976). Dear father of Mrs. William
Jeffrey (Lyda) of Stratford, Doug Ste-
phen of Usborne Twp., Greta Ste-
phen of Vancouver, and Earl Stephen
of Elimville. Dear brother of Mrs.
Anna Heckman of Dashwood. - Dear
grandfather of nine grandchildren
and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr.
Stephen was predeceased by one son
Harry (1955) and four brothers, Ar-
nold, Charlie, Reinhard and Amos.
Mr. Stephen was married to the for-
mer Martha Penwarden in 1925.
Also surviving are several nieces
and nephews. Rested at the Hopper -
Hockey Funeral Home, William
Street, Exeter, where the funeral was
held on Tuesday, May 2, at 2 p.m.
Rev: Richard Hawley officiated. In-
terment Exeter Cemetery. Donations
