Dear Sir: • We, the undersigned, request that you print the following open letter from ourselves to the Exeter OPP detachment. Thank you. Our dear friends: During the past several months we have had to call upon you many times for some very unfortunate in- cidents that have taken place in our apartment building, Spruce Villa in , Zurich. Without exaggeration, at times our distress was so great that we just would not have known what to do if you had not beer available to help. But you always were. Needless to say, then, our grati- tude to you is very great. We are also very impressed with the way you carry out your duties, many of which are very distasteful. We appreciate your very profession- al approach, all the while remaining kind, compassionate and caring. Quite frankly, after receiving so many calls from our building, we would not have blamed you one bit if you had become tired and irritated ror having to deal with the same troubles over and over again. But you never did, and we are ever so - grateful. We know.some police forces pro- claim the motto: "To serve and pro- tect". Perhaps they live up to it, we don't know. But as far as we are concerned, you could proclaim it with pride. So thank you again, friends of the Exeter OPP detachment, we appre- ciate you more than we can ex- press. • ...... r , :,."
