ELIMVILLE - The Zion West
and Centralia United Church choirs
sang "Along the Road to Easter"
last Sunday. This musical presen-
tation was enjoyed by all. Margaret
Hem and Marjorie Johns were at the
organ and piano.

The Elimville Womcns Institute
met recently at the home of Kay
Morley, Exeter. President Marie
Brock presided for the meeting.
The District Annual will be held
in the Seaforth Presbyterian church
on May 18 at 7 o'clock.
Marjorie Johns gave a report on
the district meeting held in Hensall.
A donation was made to the girls
from the Elimville 4-H club to-
wards their bus fare when they visit
the Milton Agriculture Museum
later this month. Their project has
been working with wool.
During the branch's annual meet-
ing, Marion Skinner installed the
new officers. They arc: Past Presi-

playing crokinole and fellowship -
ping.

SAINTSBURY - Service at St.
Patrick's was held Sunday morning
with a large attendance. Julie Car-
roll was server and Margaret Carroll
read the lessons. Mary Davis was
pianist.
The congregation welcomed Mi-
chael and Suzanne Davis with their
two month old twins Star and Tra-
vis. Also Crystal and Harley.
Rev. Wheeler stressed the fact of
Young people neglecting church
and services. God promised in Rev-
elations to make all things new.
The youngcr.gcneration claim the
church hasn't anything to oflei-
them. If they wait long enough
they will learn.
At the close of the service all en-
joyed refreshments served by the
Sunday School students. They
took up an offering to send to the
Worlds hunger fund.

with breakfast to follow for the
whole parish.

On Tuesday evening Hazel Davis
was hostess for the April A.C.W.
wiht 14 members and two guests
present. In the absence of president
Rose Cunningham who is ill, Na-
dine Bedell conducted the meeting.
Hazel Eaton read the minutes of the
1st meeting.
The roll call was answered with
our offering to the general Thankof-
fering to be presented at the
A.C.W. annual to be held at St.
Paul's Cathedral, London in May.
Beverley Cardiff conducted a con-
test, won by Susanne Davis. Rev.
Wheeler led in bible study which
was very enlightening.
She explained, the parabel of the
land owner who gave his servants
talents using the same story in
Mark to compare at the close of the
meeting all enjoyed refreshments
served by the hostess Hazel Davis.
Mary Davis and Doris were dinner
guests with Mabel Needham Sun-
day evening. .

several days with Millie Fulton.

Crediton Social Club hosts -dance

CREDITON - Crediton and Dis-
trict Social Club held their. Country
and Western dance Saturday eve-
ning. Spot dances went to -eannette
Lippert and Bill Wilds, and Barb
and Bill Ross.
Pierce's Band supplied the music.
Lunch was served by the lunch
committee Mr. and Mrs. Don
McIntyre and Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Ross.

Mrs. Leila Finkbeiner is a patient
in South Huron Hospital, Exeter.
Get well wishes go out to Leila.
Mrs. Jerry Finnen and Andrea,
Kitchener, Nancy Dowson and Sa-
vell of Woodstock, Mrs, Myrtle
Dietz, Blue Water Rest Home, and
Ron Fahner, Huron Park, were
weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Fahner.
