HENSALL - With the beautiful
sunny weather we're having, resi-
dents are making plans regarding
what we should plant in our garden.
Tomatoes seem to be heading the
list.
Tuesday morning we all loosened
up at fun and fitness. Rev. Van Es-
sen led our worship service in the
afternoon.
Green Thumbs Club met on
Thursday and residents repotted and
freshened upsome of our plants.
Friday, ueensway Agriculture
Club were taken on a tour of Pen -
hales' Wagon and Harness shop. It
was a very interesting afternoon as
Tom Penhale showed us beautiful
completed carriages and those in the
beginning stages. We also saw pic-
tures of carriages shipped to Hawaii
and California. We met Penhales',
master carver who does the intricate
carvings on the wagons, and also
produces carved replicas of horses.
We had a delightful time made pos-
sible by Mr. Penhale and our-yolun-
teer drivers Eileen Rannie, Helen
Anderson and Carol Gascho.
