Hewitt returned home to Australia
last Sunday after having spent the
past few months with her daughter
and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Brad
Cann, Nathan and Justin.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Cliff Jaques of Zion who celebrated
their 40th wedding anniversary on
Sunday. Happy Anniversary Cliff
and Leona.
About 50 people of the Fellow-
ship Group bowled at Zurich on
Friday evening, returning to
Thames Road Church for coffee and
doughnuts.
Several from this arca called at
the Hopper -Hockey Funeral Home,
Exeter, on Friday to pay their re -
spent to the late Calvin Wein.
Sympathy is extended to his wife
and family and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rohde had sup-
per Friday evening with Mrs. Mar-
guerite Gibson, London.
Church service
Rev. Sheila Macgregor was in
charge of the regular church service
on Sunday morning. The choirs
from Centralia and Zion West Unit-
ed Churches sang 'Along The Road
-To Easter" with music supplied by
Marjory Johns and Margaret Hcrn.
It was a fabulous presentation and
much enjoyed by all. Lunch was
served at the close of the service.
The Youth Group will meet
Thursday, April 20 at 7 p.m. at
Elimvillc United Church.
