days for the past week. We all
missed you, Nancy and are glad
you're back. •
Happy Birthday this week to staff
members Janet VanBakel and Nancy
Holland and r!srdents Minnie Doak
and Jack John ;ton.
Monday and again on Friday were
Bingo days with many lucky
players.
Rev. Don Rogers of the Exeter
Pentecostal Tabernacle conducted
our weekly worship services.
Thanks goes out to Rev. Rogers
and the lady `who `supplied the mu-
sic for us.
Our Thursday afternoon Baking
Group made peanut butter cookies.
Residents and staff both enjoyed our
baking,
Friday was movie and popcorn
day. This week we enjoyed seeing
Benji.
We would like to welcome Ber-
nice Davis home after her short stay
in hospital, as well as Glenda and
Jackie, two of our staff members
who have been off sick.
Residents and staff wish to ex-
press their sympathy to the family
and friends of Maggie pladiger who
passed away last week. Maggie
was in her 99th year.
Many of our residents enjoyed the
clothing sale last week. Geri Fash-
ions had so many items to offer and
we love to browse.
Thought for the week: You can
get along with last year's car and
last year's clothes, but you must
have this year's calendar.
