With, a total of 300 donors and only 21 deferrals, the total of 279 units of blood do- nated made the clinic one of the best we have had. The sponsoring group the Ausa- • • ble River Nomads and the Red Cross team are very pleased with • the excellent response of the donors • • who took time to give that gift of life. Co-ordinator for the Nomads Ma- rie Brunzlow says, "We hal a terrif- ic response from the students of SHDHS, vany of them first time donors. We hope they, the students and the other donors, will continue to support our Blood Donor Clinics in the future." These blood donor clinics are held to provide people with an opportu- nity to make a significant gift to the sick and injured. The next Red Cross blood donor lcinic will be held on Thursday. October 26.
