Memorials to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. 15c DIXON - At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, April 6, 1989, Earl Lewis Dixon of Centralia in his 85th year. Loved husband of the late Stella (Dundas) Dixon (1981) and dear father and father-in-law of Doug and Mary Lou Dixon of McGillivray Twp. and Edward Dixon of Grimsby. Dear brother of Mrs. Laura Lackie of Penetanguishene. Dear grandfather of Stephen, Bradley, Jeffrey, Terry, Glen and Cindy. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Dixon was predeceased by 2 brothers Wil- fred and Murray and 1 sister Olive Hotson. Friends called at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, William Street, Exeter for visitation on Sat- urday 2-4 and 7-9 where the funeral service was held on Sunday, April 9, 1989 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Debo- rah Carter and Pastor Robert Degraw officiating. Spring interment in Mars Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Dixon Family. 15c FINLAY - Mrs. Oneta Finlay passed away to be with her Lord on March 29, 1989 in her 84th year. Mrs. Finlay lived in Saanichton, B.C. and was the wife of the late Ed- gerton Finlay. She rested at McCalls Funeral Home in Victoria until her funeral on Monday, April 3, 1989. She is survived by three sons Eldon and Albert at home, Ivan and wife Margaret all of Saanichton as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother-in-law Gordon Johnston of Cambridge, On- tario plus seven neices and nephews here in Ontario. Mrs. Finlay was pre -deceased by one sister-in-law Al- berta Johnston in 1971 and one brother-in-law Harold Finlay in 1981. Mrs. Finlay will be greatly missed by family, relatives and so many good friends and neighbours of Saanichton. She acted as Mother to many and was active in church and community work and truly en- joyed life, always doing for others prior to her death. 15c LOVE - Catharine (nee Stewart) "Loved by all who knew her." Beloved son of Anne (MacDennell) O'Connor of Inuvik, N.W.T., and Kelly and Marilyn O'Connor of RR 2, Ailsa Craig. Dear grandson of John O'Connor and the late Hilda O'Connor, also the late Leo and Mary MacDonnell. Dear brother of Timothy of London, Spencer, David, Darryl and Thomas O'Connor all at home. Also survived by several aunts and uncles. Rested at the C. Haskett & Son Funeral Home, Lucan until Monday, April 10th then to St. Patrick's Church where the Funeral Mass was celebrat- ed by Capt. G.
