Learning CREDITON - Crediton V 4-H club, with group leaders Mary Gla- vin and Dianne Kaak, gathered to- gether on March 6 at the home of Mary Glavin. There we learned the fine art of increasing and decreasing stitches on our knitting. Later we discussed our trip to Milton, which will cover areas such as demonstrations on all as- pects of wool, from fleece to its end products,nd more. With 20 members present, our leaders accounted for several guests - Lois Hodgins, Joanne -Steffens Loianc Bowers and a few more to shear spectators. Why all the guests, you ask? Very simple. "Fuzzy Ball", Mr. Gerald Dear- ing's sheep, visited our club for a yearly shearing. Our gutsy presi- dent and youth leader, Denise Hen- drick showed off her talents by suc- cessfully completing the shearing job. We concluded our meeting with snacks provided by Lictte Clarke and Julie Kaak. We would like to thank Mr. Dearing Fuzzy Ball, our guests and leaders. Press reporter Keri Rutten.
