LUCAN - Did you know that Je-
sus knows, what we are and can be?
This was the question asked of
those in attendance, March 5, 1989.
He showed that in the way he loved
Judas, more than. anyone of us
cogld ever measure. This is seen as,
todity, we travel through life's A, B,
C crisis zones.
We all go through the cycle of
new situations which lead to prob-
lems that have to be solved and
then with the help of the Lord we
come out on top, triumphant. We
all can look back on one's own life
but really we should be asking,
"Where am I today? I have a fu-
ture!" Then as stated in Acts 3:16
we should hand our life over to Je-
sus and he will turn it around so
that we can become victorious in
leading a new life.
Sunday, March 5, the youth
group experienced a "Progressive
Supper" taking part at four of the
youth's homes: It was a good thing
that ALL had to walk between
homes..
During the week we continue to
grow in numbers at our three Bible
study groups and a warm welcome
is extended to all who wish to come
and join us. Our sing song on
Thursday evening is off to a great
start and looks like a weekly hap-
pcning. >: ''day evening is time for
the adults io join in fun and fellow-
ship as the Full Circle Fellowship
meets at 8 p.m.
Information on any of the above
events may be obtained by phoning
the pastor, Rev. D. Shaule at 227-

Increasein accidents
LUCAN -.Two or three days of
poor weather and icy roads were the
major cause of an increase in the
number of of accidents in the Lucan
OPP area.
A total of 17 accidents were re-
ported as well as several vehicles in
the ditch. The slippery roads obvi-
ously caught several drivers una-
ware of winter conditions. Fortu-
nately, only one accident resulted in
any serious injuries.
Susan Brew of 575 Wilkins
Street, London, was travelling
southbound on County Road 27 at
County Road 16 when her vehicle
slid into the northbound land and
was struck by another car driven by
Carol Francis of R.R. 7, St. Mar-
ys. Both drivers as well as Sylvia
Dixon, a passenger in the Francis
vehicle, received major injuries and

The number of criminal and gen-
eral occurrences remained at 31 for
the past week which is typical for
this time of year. Criminal investi-
gations were lower with no break-
ins and only two thefts and one
.damage complaint received. Itis
hoped that with the arrests of sever-
al persons involved in break and en-
ters, the incidence of this occurrence
will be reduced.
The Lucan area, in particular
Highway 4, has several emergency
vehicles travelling with red lights
and sometimes sirens activated.
Many ambulances and often times
police or fire vehicles are on enter-
gency calls.
-The law requires that all vehicles,
meeting. or being overtaken by
emergency vehicles go around
them. Please pull to the right -
someone's -life may be depending on
it.
Lucan Revival Centre
.LUCAN - Tim Kritzel red the
song service Sunday morning:
Mrs. Marlene Thornton beautifully
sang We'Shall Behold Him. Sever-
al people shared how God had an-
swered prayer for their families.
Pieter Schinkleshoek ministered
from Titus 1, This letter to Titus.
was written not just for Titus, but
for us to change us from ungodly
persons, to godly people. We have
to allow the word of God to change
us to a holy people. In verse 4
Paul tells us grace, mercy, and
peace comes from God.
Sunday evening Doug Butler led
the worship. Pieter Schinkleshoek
introduced Frank and Linette Diele-
man, who are with Wycliffe Bible
translators.
Mrs. Diclman grew up with mis-
sionary parents in Columbia, where
her father used to fly Bible transla-
tors. Dielman said they planned to
go to Europe to work among Mus-
lim refugees translating the Bible in
to their language. He than played a
piano solo Great if the Lord. Mr.
Schenkleshoek read the Psalm then
spoke from Titus 1:14 to 2:10. He
stressed that we as Christians can
avoid to become evil by the power
of Cod.' Paul is teaching Titus how
to be a good pastor. Every Chris-
tian has a ministry from God.
