The marriage took place on Feb- ruary 12, 1989 in Reno, Neva- da, U.S.A. IC 4.5 yrs. Coronet Trust UCW meets at Crediton~ CREDITON - The Crediton United Church Women met on Thursday evening March 2. Evelyn Pickering and Nola Faist were in charge of the devotions. A skit, entitled "What Hat Shall I Wear?" was presented by Evelyn, Nola and Mrs. Peebles. Peebles sang two solos between scenes. Linda Finkbeiner presided for the business. Roll call was an- swered by naming an I•rish song. Dates for London Conference, Westminster weekend and Alma College one day event were given. April Event will be at St. Johns Church in Stratford on April 18. Rainbow of Quilts at South Huron High School on April 8 and 9. As we have been invited to Cen- tralia on April 6.our April meeting will be Wednesday, April 5. Hostesses for lunch were Jean- nette Lamport and Irene Schlenker. World Day of Prayer service was held in our church on Friday, March 3 with the ladies from Mount Carmel and Greenway as our guests. The theme of the service being "Lord, Teach Us to Pray." Rev. Admission is a $2 donation._ Pauls back from Hawaii KIRKTON - Shirley and Lee Paul reported home from Hawaii after spending 14 glorious days in Para- dise. They had a wonderful group of 44 seasoned travellers along with them. From the Grand Cove Estates came Hazel Irwin, Margaret Crai- gie, Helen James and Mildred, Kane. The rest of the group consisted of people from the St. Marys arca. Generic Theatres, founded in 1986 is co -directed by Eleonore Prokop and Michael Quinsey. The company operates throughout the year presenting plays for both chil- dren and adult audiences in its own • theatre. Also offered are ongoing classes in acting, movement and voice.
