Livestock producers to get help TORONTO - Ontario livestock producers will receive up to S12 million from the federal and provin- cial governments to help offset in- creased production costs as a result of the 1988 drought. "This program is designed to help Ontario producers maintain their basic breeding herds in the face of added production costs because of the drought," Mazankowski said. "This program illustrates our commitment to maintain thc sever- ity of drought in various counties, districts or regional municipalities.
