Resolutions -. Concern about the
damage done to machinery, live-
stock, and humans; the directors
passed a resolution requesting the
provincial government to imple-
ment a system whereby beverages
sold in glass bottles would have a
price including a refundable deposit
of significant dollar value to en-
courage the gathering of such con-
tainers and discourage disposing of
such containers on the roadside or
adjoining arca.
Being concerned about the lack of
standardization for shutting off the
power supply of farm machinery,
the directors passed a motion that
would see all new motorized farm
machinery sold for use in Ontario
have an emergency stop located in
an easy accessible location clearly
identified. These resolutions have
been sent to the parent organiza-
tion for their support as well.as to
the provincial government.
The next meeting will be held on
March 2.
