Lucan Scouting held their third annual hobo supper February 23 at Lucan Scout Guide Hall as part of their celebration. Although sunny through the day it was -definitely "chili' in the evening as family and friends enjoyed their choice of hobo fair. To keep in the spirit of the occa- sion the hall was decorated by the Beavers with train cars and bean • cans. The sections were led in by the colour party bearing flags, after each section lead by their leaders re- affirmed their law. Everyone joined in the singing of I'd like to teach the world to sing. Andrea French gave a reading on the '89 Guilding Theme, Peace, fol- lowed by a song. Song performed by the Beavers, Cubs and Brownies were also enjoyed. Religion and Life Badges were presented to greg and Jeremy Lan- gendyh. John Dickie, Robert Den- smore, and Jeremy Johnson were re- cipients of five star club awards. A meaningful presentation of peace what it means was given by one member from each sectipn. The colour party rdtrieved the flags before adjournment for refresh- ments. Group committee and lead- ers wish to thank all those who supported us in our BP celebrations to make them successful.
