Winter Carnival - On February
10, Stephen Central had their annu-
al Winter Carnival for this year.
Like many other years there were
events such as log sawing, tug of
war, three legged race, showshoe-
ing, tobogganing, slalom, ski race
and rest stop with hot chocolate.
This year a special,presentation was
given by the cheerleaders of the
school to the students in order to
excite them for the upcoming
events that afternoon. We hope that
all the work was appreciated for the
preparation for that day.

"Timmy's" Report on the Exeter
Sportsmcns Dinner - When Mom
asked, "Do you want to be Timmy
for the Exeter Sportsmen's Dinner?"
I said "Yes!" I'd been Timmy before
and it was fun. I was glad when
Mom said I didn't have to make a
speech.
The day of the dinner Mom
picked me up at school after lunch.
We went home to get ready. I had a
bath, and then I put on my new
suit. It's just like Dad's: As soon as
Mom and Dad were ready we left for
my "Press Conference" in Exeter at
the Riverview Estates Rec Centre. I
talked with Lennox Lewis, Mi-
chelle Carmon, Gary Allen Price,
and other celebrities. People from
the newspapers and television sta-
tion asked me questions and took
pictures.
We went to the Rec Centre for
the Sportsmen's Dinner. I ate car-
rots, roast beef, potatoes and a din-
ner roll. I had water and milk to
drink. I was too stuffed for dessert.
It was fun being Timmy. I got
lots of autographs.
