EXETER - Hello from everyone
at the Villa. By the time you read
this we will know whether March
came in like a lamb or a lion.
Happy birthday this week to Gla-
dys Brightrall and staff member
Irene Kenney. Best wishes to both.
Residents enjoyed watching the
musical Oklahoma. Unfortunately
the show in the lodge was interrupt-
ed due to technical problems. Hope-
fully we will be able to watch it
again at a later date:
Rev.1-Iawlcy of the Exeter United
Church conducted our weekly wor-
ship services.' The service in the
lodge was our monthly communion
service. We are looking forward to
using the new hymn books pur-
chased by the Exctcr and arca mini-
sterial.
The Lioness hosted their month-
ly program last Wednesday even-
ing. Thanks to the Coolman chil-
dren for the lovely music. We
appreciate the ladies leaving the
tape of the Fair Parade and Santa
Claus parade. We shall enjoy
watching it in the near future.
The Calvinettes visited las.
Thursday evening. We were pleased
to see them as they were stormed
out last time. The girls had a few
songs and played bingo with sever-
al residents. Thanks girls for the
bingo prizes. •
Our Thursday bakers made cereal
cookies for bingo. Residents enjoy
tasting their baking projects and I
know the staff -enjoy tasting as
well. Our ladies prepared a cake for
our .monthly birthday party as
well. February birthdays in the
nursing home were Jim Riley and
Malty Aho.
There was a little monckying
around in the lodge on Saturday
night. We had an excellent turnout.
at Banana Bridge.
Staff and residents wish to ex-
press their sympathy to staff mem-
ber Betty MacGregor and her fami-
ly in their recent loss. Out
thoughts and prayers are with Betty
al this time.
Thought for the week: A loving
smile adds a lot to your face value.
