Zurich WI gets plaque
By Carmel Sweeney
ZURICH - The members of the
Zurich Women's Institute were hap-
py to receive a plaque from Premier
David Peterson and Hon. Jack Rid-
dell, Minister of Agriculture and
Food on the occasion of their 75th
anniversary on January 8.
Although many members are get-
- ting to the Seniors age and younger
people have other interests, the In-
stitute is still an educational organi-
zation.
Qne of the latest projects which
W.I.s have started is to put agricul-
tural kits bark into the classrooms
so children are reminded that milk
does not come from a bottle and the
egg not out of the cardboard carton.
