Times -Advocate, January 18, 1989 Page 7 Ailsa Craig UCW hears of Hong Kong AILSA CRAIG - At the January meeting of the Ailsa Craig U.C.W. those present learned a great deal about Hong Kong, its cultural focus and the people who live there. Kathy Kilby spent 10 months in Hong Kong and while there she taught conversational English in a school and encouraged the young people to attend a church to learn about the Christian way of life. Kathy was invited to the U.C.W. meeting to share some of her expe- riences with the members. As she told about her work in Hong Kong she showed a beautiful set of slides and then answered many questions. Mary Sutherland used "time" as the theme of her worship service for the first meeting in the New Year. As time is a gift of God we should learn time management and make work an act of joy. We sang the old hymn "Take Time to be Holy" with Lorraine Neil as pianist. Wilma McIntosh read a suitable scripture. During the business meeting everyone was in favour of having a roast beef supper in March.
