"We realize that prices are down and costs are up," says Richard Smelski, On- tario Ministry of Agriculture and Food swine specialist. "That's why this year's program theme is cutting costs and increasing ef- ticiency." The symposium is sup- ported by county pork producer's associations in Perth, Huron and Oxford, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and pork -related industries. Last year the symposium exceeded all expectations, attracting more than 1400 producers from across the province. Organizers expect at least 1000 producers this year. The one -day program features 16 presentations by speakers from the Univer- sities of Guelph, Michigan, Indiana, and Nebraska. the magic of Christmas continues forever ina- GIFr OF DIAMONDS All the beauty and brilliance of the holiday season keeps glowing in the fiery sparkle of our Christmas diamon- ds.
