Continued from page 4 or trying to pass by lawsor take more and more of this freedom from the in- dividuals. It is not only town councils that do this, it is also true of all aspects of government. If they would only pause a minute and think that most of the people that they push some of the silly by-laws on are as intelligent as any one making these decisions. Also if we wanted to be dictated to it seems to me that we should forget about November 11. Instead of making a farce out of our war dead by shoving something at them that they don't want or really don't need. They died to preserve our freedom What right do a handful of men have to take it away. This is only my opinion and maybe it is poorly expressed • but I really believe that the majority of Canadiansare so proud of what they are and what they have that they really don't need by-laws that take away a little more of their freedoms. • • • RY LIV 1t WOVE ' 11 rAliffiliat brother Earl, have returned home from a hunting trip to Wawa in Northern Ontario, where Cliff got the lucky shot and brought home a moos Surprise Party A group of their former farm neighbours surprised Mr. and Mrs. Henry Becker, at their home in Zurich last Tuesday evening for a housewarming party and social evening.
