Church news At the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Rev. Mary Mills was in charge of the worship, and preached her sermon from theGospelof St. Luke Chapter 6. This referred to Jesus and His Ministry on Earth, and His instructions to His twelve disciples. At the United Church Rev. Elwood Morden was in charge of the morning worship, and officiated at the service of baptism. Children receiving the Sacrament were, Wayne Stephen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Bilyea Kelly Margaret Anne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Waters; and Matthew Cleveland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hill. Rev. Morden entitled his sermon. "The man of Generosity" this referred to Barnabas; who when he had sold his land, brought the money and laid it at the Apostle feet. Barnabas, said Rev. Morden was Generous of hand. and heart, and mind, and therefore a "Man of Generosity."
