Get well wishes are extended. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Roh- de, Danny and Tammy were - guests at the Murch-Kingma wedding Friday evening at Wesley -Willis United Church, Clinton. Tammy was the flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ballantyne were guests at the Fleming -Hackney wedding Saturday at Exeter United Church and then they and Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Ballantyne and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ballantyne attended the reception and dance at the Exeter Legion Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Borland, Jeff and Brad at- tended the Dearing -Parsons reception- and dance Saturday evening at the South Huron Rec Centre. • Mr. and Mrs. Barry E. Miller were guests at the Veal, -McCann wedding at Mount Carmel Church Saturday and the meal, reception and dance at the Pineridge Chalet in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Williani Roh- de were Saturday supper guests with Mrs. Marguerite Gibson, London. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Martin and family and friend of Delhi.Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thomson and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Rodd and Calvin, Woodham were Sunday dinner geuests with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jeffery. David Woodland of Hert- fordshire England is visiting for several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hargreaves. After church Sunday they were guests with Mr. and Mrs. Lorne. Handsford, London. They were celebrating all the Sep- tember birthdays. Mr. Woodland is a building service engineer. Sunday evening Mr. Woodland and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hargreaves attended the Introduction Service of Miss Barbara Laing into the Ministry of Dashwood - Zurich churches. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rohde, Mitchell visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. William Rohde. Mrs. Alvin Passmore accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Tuckey and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tuckey, Exeter to Milton Sunday where they visited with their aunt Mrs. Edith McAllister. Mrs. Myrtle Netters, Exeter was a Sunday supper guest with Mr. and Mrs. David Passmore. Thanksgiving service will be Sunday October 7 at 11:15 a.m. and Sunday October 14 at 11:15 a.m. Rev. Stan MacDonald, Hensall will be in charge of the Communion service. Centralia people are on the mend By MRS. FRED BOWDEN CFNTRALIA Lloyd Morgan who recently underwent surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, joined his wife at the home or their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson in Highgate and spent a few days before returning to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson brought them home Sunday and remained overnight with them. They both have the best wishes of many friends- for riendsfor improved health: We are pleased to see Bernard. Rimmer out around again after being hospitalized in Victoria Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Rimmer had as their guest for a week Mrs. Rimmer's brother, Martin McIntyre, of Peace River, Alberta. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ihrtzel spent the week -end at Fisherman's Cove. We were sorry to read of the death of Mr. William Skelton of London. Mr. and Mrs. Skelton were former Centralia residents and sympathy is extended to Mrs. Skelton and family in their bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. Alson Bauman of Kitchener were visitors over the week -end at the Manse with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schott and family. ' Mr. Bauman conducted the service in Centralia United Church on Sunday morning for Mr. Schott who was taking the services at Grace and Fairmont United Churches in London for the Rev. John Beaton who was guest speaker at the an- niversary service in Zion West United Church. A number from here attended the service at Zion. Mr. and Mrs. Les Brown and family, Barrie, and Mrs. Edith Brown, Kenora were week -end guests; Mrs. Kirk Lyndon and Christopher, Goderich were Saturday guests at the home of • Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lobb. Mr. and Mrs. David Wheeler attended the 50th anniversary celebrations of Mr. and Mrs. William Poole of Dundas Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Copeland, Cynthia and Deanna and Miss Jean Copeland visited on Satur- day'with Mrs. Ethel Walker and also attended the Caledonia Fair. Miss Rhea Mills has returned home after spen- ding several weeks visiting her sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thomson, Parkhill. A number from the community- attended the International Plowing Match near Chatham last week. Mrs. Robert Corsaut, St. Marys spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. David Wheeler. Mr. and Mrs. Cedric Wheeler, Brownsburg, Quebec visited for a few days with Mr. and Mrs. George Wheeler and all visited with Rev. John Wheeler of Wellington Terrace, Elora. Mr. and.
