Thursday at 9 p.m. Saveway defeated the Lieury seniors three games .,to one )to reach the final round. They lost 4-3 to Lieury Tuesday and came back Thursdaywith a 3-1 victory to clinch the semi-final'series. In the other round Nairn defeated the Lieury Jets. also three games to one. Lieury came back to tie the score in the bottom of the fourth as Gord Mauer singled, Stan Lovie homered and Glen Thompson walked. Lieury scored their win- ning run in the fifth as Lloyed Mathers singled and scored as the hall took a bad hop. Ed Brown toiled for LLieur3 and struck out eight batters while giving up seven hits in picking up the win. Brian Hodgins pitched for Saveway allowing four hits while striking out one hatter.
