Bible school
is- successful

The Vacation Bible School
sponsored by the Centralia
and Zion West congregations
was.held last week in the
school rooms of Centralia
United Church with 55 boys
and girls in attendance.
Those assisting. Mr. Schott
in conducting the school
were Evelyn Rollings, Linda
Aikens, Barbara French,.
Laura Hern, Carolynne
Hern, Margaret Hern.
Marilyn Miller. Phyllis
Tomes, Clarisse Hern, Joan
Hern, Marcia Clarke.
Jenny Smith and Susan
Jaques.
Assisting with the music
were Douglas Gill, Mrs. Lois
Wilson and Penny Smith.
Donna Smith, Aldeen
Skinner and Mabel Hern
were the committee in
charge of the refreshments.
Those looking after the
babies were Dianne Skinner,
Dorothy Hern. Marina
Jaques, Donna and Barbara
Wilson.
Mrs. Lorne Hicks en-
tertained on Wednesday
morning when she showed
slides of children from
various countries visited
through her travels.
Sunday Service
"The Working Hands of
Jesus': was the subject
chosen by Paul Schott for his
sermon in the United Church
on Sunday morning. Jesus
hands were used in per-
forming many miracles and
healing was a big part of this
ministry. Jesus hands were
nail -pierced hands.
The children's story was
-told--by Mr. Schott. A solo
was sung by Joanne Smith.
Mr. Gill was the organist and
was accompanied on the
piano by Mary Lou Tasko.

the holiday week -end with
the former's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. S. Molnar.

the week -end with Richard's
