Mr. and Mrs. Bob Tindall
and family attended the
annual draft horse picnic
held in the W.R.P.A Centre ,
in Galt Sunday. At this oc-
casion the All Ontario Draft
horse "Queen" competition
was held for the various
breeds of draft horses.
Miss - Marylou Tindall.
Lucan was one of the con-
testants in competition for
"Belgian Queen". • Marylou
was chosen. and crowned by
her sister Nancy, last years
Queen. She was presented
with a desk pen set and
corsage. As Queen she will
be guest at the CNE Toronto
in August and the Royal
Winter fair in November and
several local fall fairs.

The 'Hamilton family

Riverview Park.
Margaret Hamilton,
Cambridge Was welcomed
by all. It was her first time to
attend with cousins in this
area.
Families represented were
Baker, Elliott. Kemp,
Prebble, Hamilton and
Sillery.
A bountiful meal• guessing
games. races, swimming
and chatting were enjoyed
on this most pleasant day in
the park.
The reunion to be held at
the same place in 1980.

sermon in the United
Church. Sunday morning
gave seven reasons for
wanting to be a Christian and
quoted several passages of
Scripture to prove his points.
Jesus said "f am come
that you might have life in all
its fullness." We follow
God's teachings because we
need outside help in our
lives. comfort in sorrow:
strength in weakness and
preparation for the future.
The children's story was
told by Mr. Schott and Mary
Lou Tasko was the organist.

holiday trip for a few days
last week to Midland.
