'Carl Payne, has returned to
her .home. While here she
crossed on the Chi-
Cheemaun ferry at Tober-
mory. visited the Agawa
Canyon and Moosonee and
Algonquin Park.
Grade 8's
graduate
A most enjoyable evening
was held at the Pineridge
Chalet on Wednesday when
the Grade 8 Students of
Hensall Public School and
their parents or guests were
honoured after a bountiful
dinner with Diplomas. The
two top students each
received the twenty-five
dollars prsented by the
Kinettes. They were Jane
Pollock and Peter Dougall
Promotion Certificates were
given out during the evening
to the top high academic
standing. They received
silver dollars.- Rev. Stan
McDonald was the guest
speaker and Mr. Eric
Mansfield presented a slide
display of the Grade Eight's
trip to Montreal. The
teachers attending were the
Principal Mr. Ron MacKay,
Mr. Pearson. Mr. E. Man-
sfield. Mrs. Deichert, Mrs.
Chris Eagleson. Mrs. Jacobi,
Mrs. Horner, Mrs. Alma
Westlake. Mrs: Stoneman,
Mrs. Preszcator.
Plan three day trip
The "Three Links" Senior
Citizens are planning a
three day bus 'trip to 'Upper
Canada Village and Ottawa
August 22. 23. and 24th.
Anyone wishing to secure
seats on the bus please

Owing to the holiday

Carmel Presbyterian church
will be withdrawn on July 8th
and July 15th when the
congregation will attend
service at Hensall United
Church at 11.00 a.m. Service
will be resumed in Carmel
Presbyterian Church on
