GRAND BEND -The Grand Bend
Legion had a general meeting on
Monday, May 30. The winners of
the Friday meat raffle were: Grace
Lautenschlager, Audrey Gvialde,
Art Hildcrban, Clint Bobcock and
Ron Crown. Dolly Hatton won the
Mystery Prize, and the door prizes
were won by Harold Smith and
Gord Glazer.
All the schools are busy with
field trips this time of year, to
Springbank park in London, or
camping for Ole older kids at Camp
Sylvan.
Little Brendan Walker enjoyed a
"Wheels" trip with his Grade 1
class at McCurdy School last week.
They travelled by bus to St. Marys,
took a Via Train trip to London,
went to the airport to sec some
planes take off and land, and en-
joyed lunch at their teacher's home.
