Minor_ Hockey Association was
held April 20 at the Huron Park
[tee Centre.
Guest- speaker was Reg Higgs,
On -Ice Instructor of the Huron
Ilockcy School. He donated three
prizes. • Sweaters were won by
Shawn Kramer and Ben Glavin.
.A week at Huron Ilockcy School
was won by Doug Wilson.
Jeff Glavin's name was drawn to
pick the 50/50 draw winncr. The
winning ticket belonged to Rick
Thornton, Exeter who collects

Exeter Shuffleboard
The Exeter Shuffleboard club met
only once this week, playing two
series of five and six games Thurs-
day.
In five games of mixed action,
Pearl McKnight scored 393 to cap-
ture high score..She was followed
by John Pepper who turned in a
367 while Howard Johns.was close
behind with 366.

appreciated the fact that Stephen

the banquet and to Tuckey Beverag-
es for donating the pop. .
The new executive for the 1988-
89 season consists of past president
Ai Hartford, president Judy Glavin,
first vice Ray Mills, second vice
Poe Rutten.
Directors arc: Don Clarke, Ron
Mason, Jack Glavin and Art Bower-
man.
Treasurer is Joanne Hodge.
