Did you know that there are some
43 species of wild orchids on the.
Bruce Peninsula? On Monday, June
6, you will have a chance to see
not only wild orchids, but also
some of the wildflowers that are na-
tive to the peninsula. -
You need not be a 'hiker' to enjoy
this outing. Much of what we will
be looking for will be right along a
roadside, or just a short jaunt into a
bush.
Just to make this outing even
more unique and special, we will be
having Our supper at the Paisley
United Church. The ladies' group
will be serving us a roast bccf din-
ner. (Bayfield Seniors did this a few
years ago, and loved it).
The tour will operate rain or
shine...please be prepared for either.
Dress is definitely casual. La-
dies...please, please, please, no
high heels or sandals!
For information contact Bill Gib-
son at 262-2102. or Marg Cole at
262-2140.
We would like to book as soon
as possible so that we know if we
have to recruit passengers friars oth-
er areas.

A large audience thrilled to the
"Magic Adventures of Hieronymous
Dutullus" at the.licnsall Library
last Friday afternoon.
Michael Ross created the role of
the swashbuckling merchant marine
from the 17th century who regaled
the audience with stories and magic
from the many lands that he has
visited.
Mark Bell of Hensall aided Hier-
onymous as his first mate. Gold
and silver dubloons appeared every-
where with the aid of helpers in the
crowd. _ .
Katie Rathwell and Danny Lep-
ington dressed as wizards and
played some "tricks" of their own
much to the dismay of Mr. Ross.
In the end, however, everything .
was straightened out. Lindsey
Campbell and Chad Taylor helped:
to bake a chocolate cake and
whipped up a.very "Harty" ending
to the trick.

evening for an hour of bingo.
Reverend Bender led our worship
service Tuesday afternoon, with his
wife as song leader. We were happy
to welcome them and following the
