EXPLANATORY NOTE
The explanation and purpose of this by-law is to regulate the use
of lands and the character. location and use of buildings and
structures in various defined areas within the Township of Hay.
The Zoning By -14W implements the Hay Township Secondary
Plan and provides for specific land use regulations to ensure
that the policies of the Secondary Plan area realized.
Several objections to the Zoning By -Law were received.
I. several property owners within the Recreational designation
along the lakcshore requested that zoning he changed to permit
permanent residences..
2. request for an RC2 zone- (Recreational Trailer Park and
Campground) on part .of the north half of Lot 9 Lake Road
West Concession to -reflect the Recreational designation in the
Secondary Plan.
3. request for zoning on part of l.ot 22 lake Road West
Concession to recognize an existing cottage within the Natural
Environment designation of the Secondary Plan.
4.'objection to the AG3-2 zoning of Part -Lot 2, Concession 1.
The A63-2 zone permits Agricultural -Commercial -Industrial
uses but no accessory residences.
