After nabbing the series lead with a 7-4 win over Comets in game Exeter Hawks trip A recent trip to Ohio University may have been the formula Exctcr Hawks needed to get back on track for thc final leg of the Western Jun- ior D.scason. Ron Bogart, president of'the club, said that the trip was good for Hawks. "We all had a good time," Bogart commented. "Hopefully this trip will be the thing that brings the team together for the playoffs." The Junior D squad enjoyed a weekend of hockey, touring and a dash of the university town night- life during the trip, arranged by head coach Dave Bogart who formerly played for Ohio University. They defeated Mitchell 6-1 in Exeter on Tuesday, February 9 and followed with a close 3-2 victory in the Perth county town Friday night. TO wind up the regular season, the Hawks will be at the South Huron Rcc Centre Friday night against Mt. Brydges and Saturday they travel to Wellesley.
