become very costly and a punishment such as a jail term and

Arrest suspect
in ovens theft
One person has been arrested in
connection. with the November 27
theft at Drysdale's Appliances in
Hensall when 58 microwave ovens
were taken.
He will appear in Exeter court on
February 9 and warrants have been
issued for throe other persons in
connection with the same occur=

Three vehicles
in one accident
One of the five accidents investi-
gated this week by officers .of the
Exeter town police force involved
three vehicles.
It occurred December 12 on Main
street near Wellington and involved
vehicles driven by Milton Keller
and Thang Le, both of Exeter and a
parked vehicle owned by Dirk Cool -
man, also of Exeter.Damage was
listed at $1,150.

Viola Hendy, Exeter and Angelo
Andreassi, Scaforth collided on
Main street at Gidlcy. Damage was
set at S2,500
Damage was estimated at $2,000
, Wednesday when vehicles driven
hy,Jim Kirk of Hay township and •
Patrick Shanahan, Goderich collided
at the intersection of Main and
Sinlcoe streets.
Friday, A vehicle driven by Ho-
ward McDonald, Lucan southbound
on Main street was struck from be-
hind by a vehicle driven by Ivan
"I-riehner, Exeter. Damage was listed
at S 1,000.
Vehicles operated by Hazel Mill-
er, Exeter and Sharon Bruls, Huron
Park were in collision Friday on
Main strct at John street. Damage
was estimated at S900.
