• The Best Present
by Kelansbergen
Zurich P.S.
Once there was a little boy named
Roger Milton the third. He was six
years old. His father, Roger Milton
the second was very wealthy. Roger
had lots and lots of toys. His father
would buy him anything he wanted.
One day his father told him he could
go to the store and pick out one
thing and he would give it to him
as a present. So Roger went to the
store with his father. They looked
through the huge store. Roger
couldn't decide what he wanted.
Then he saw a little boy about his
age dressed in raggedy clothes asleep
on a bench. He said "I want that
boy". His father said "Roger I can't
buy you that boy." "Why not?" he
replied. "You can't buy people be-
cause they are not for sale, but you
can try to be theboy's friend. Do
you understand Roger?" "Sure Dad".
So Roger woke the boy and asked
him his name. He said his name
was Timothy. Timothy's family
was poor so he never got the kind
I of presents Roger did, but the
present he had just received was the
best one of all - Roger's friendship.
Roger also thought that being Tim-
othy's friend was the best present he
ever got.

What is Christmas to me
It is a time for sharing and car-
ing, loving and kissing and being
with your family.
So I hope you have Merry
Christmas.
Christmas Poetry
By Nicole Masse
St. Boniface P.S. Grade 3
Christmas is love and joy,
for a girl and a boy.
It is tune lo show you care,
For everything that is there.
All through the day.
You show your love in every way.
And on Christmas night
You see a wonderful sight. /—
But, what is it that you see,
A beautiful babe, a saviour to be.
The Christmas
Miracle
By Jackie Koehler
Long ago far away there were two
children Tracy and Stacey who
didn't have a family. Every Christ-
mas they didn't get anything not
even a penny. But one Christmas
someone found these two children.
This person did not have any chil-
dren of her own. So she adopted
both of them. The next Christmas
came by very fast.
On Christmas morning the chil-
dren both got lots of toys, even a
pair of skates. So the next week
they went skating for their first
time. It was •unblivable they could
skate faster then they thought they
could. They had a wonderful time.
They had races, they played tag. Af-
terwards they went home for hot
chocolate. For years and years they
remembered when the lady found
them. Sitting in the snow freezing.
The end!
