This season after 21 games, Mus- tangs have a record of three wins and 18 losses. Two of those three wins came in ijte first two games of the season when the team had a full roster. At 4:31, Scan McCann put Exeter on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal. McCann later picked up a pass from Trevor Taylor and directed it into the net to tie the game. St. Marys re -took the lead at 8:18 Atom Crunchers edged out Exctcr Atom Crunchers lost a close game to visiting Watford 5-3 Saturday. Exeter opened the scoria at 1:42 of the fust period on a goal by Wil- ly Partridge, assisted by Mea Sims. Crunchers notched their goal at 4:20 in period one on a Aot by Scott Inson assisted by Geoff Hann and Willy Partridge. Watford came back in the second period to score their first goal Exctcr quickly responded with their third goal off the stick of Wil- ly Partridge. Geoff Hann and Scott i Inson drew assists on the play. Watford went on in the third peri- od to score four unanswered goals 1 despite several attempts by Crunch- ers to stcm the onslaught. The game at times seemed to be a mis-match as London stormed the Lucan net, but England stood his ground and the Lucan players con- tinually cleared the rebounds. Peewees lose Exeter Peewees let a 2-1 lead slip out of their hands last week in Shamrock hockey action when they came up against Thamesford and lost 5-2. The two teams struggled through a scoreless first period, but things turned around in the second. • Mark Brintnell pumped in a shot from Mark Lynn and Ryan Linden - field and then Lynn found an open- ing after he picked up a pass from Steve Farquhar and Jason Heywood. Thamesford matched one goal in the second but exploded in the third, blasting in four unanswered goals to win the game. The loss leaves Peewees with 12. points after five wins, six losses and two ties.
