In the seniors game South Huron
defeated Norwell narrowly 50-48.
Top scorer of the game- with an
impressive 21 points was Rob Bile -
ski.
Also scoring eight points each
were Mark Lomas, Rob Pearen and
Tim McAllister.

Senior tourney
On the weekend Senior boys par-
ticipated in the "Purple and White"
elimination tournament. In the first
game South Huron defeated Clinton
52-31. It was a total team effort
Legionnaires
shut out
Exeter Legionnaires were shut out
5-0 by St. Marys Bantams in
Shamrock action after the two
teams struggled through a scoreless
first period.
St. Marys came on strong in the
second, scoring four unanswered
goals. They added one more in the
third to make the rout complete.
Scan Robinson was in goal for
the shutout.
Legionnaires have eight wins, six
losses and one tie.

day, South Huron defeated Wing -
ham 6-3.

Brian Moir, Jim Dickens and Jerry
Lamport,. with two provided the
goals for Exeter.

O'Connor, Todd Laporte, Harlen
Tinney and Larry Lewis drew as-
sists over the course of the game.

Bell Atoms back on track
With the help of Craig Schwart-
zentruber who recently returned to
Bell Atoms line-up after recovering
from a leg injury, the Exeter team
edged out Parkhill Jets 3-2 Satur-
day.
Exeter managed only ten shots on.
goal, but they made them count,
sinking one more than Parkhill to
win the game.
Bell goalie Ken Hines kept the
opposition under control in Exeter's
end.
Good play at both ends of the ice
produced the final results. Defence -
men Kevin Ross and Jeff DeBlock
combined with strong offensive
play by Brent Urlin and Steve
Cook.
Ben Guenther potted two of the
three Exeter goals.
It was Guenther who started
things off at 2:18 with an unassist-
ed marker in the second period after
a scoreless first. Adam Wallis added
some insurance with just 51 sec-
onds left in the period. He was as-
sisted by Cook and Schwartzentru-
ber.
Guenther put the puck in the net
again in the third to counter two
Parkhill goals and win the game.
Urlin drew the lone assist.
