Refreshments followed. On Tuesday evening, the Ladies Auxiliary presented their annual Christmas party for the residents. Carmel Sweeney, Mary Gingerich and Ina Neeb each read a poem. Earl _ Oesch displayed some of his carv- ings, and explained the procedures taken for each one. Ina Neeb and Mary Gingerich sang a duet and Mary Lou Erb and Grace Martin played a piano and organ duet. Christmas carols were sung and Santa Claus arrived distributing gifts to each of the residents. A fes- tive lunch was then served. The sympathy of residents and staff is extended to the family of the late Dr. Chas. Toll. Residents who were out recently were Aaron Gingerich, Margaret Snell, Alice Ferg, Matilda Bassow, Violet Huntley, Jean Levine and William Ziler.
