Lucan Novices shut out Sfrathroy
or more goals in the effort.
Lucan Novices are undefeated in
Shamrock action with nine wins,
no losses and one tie.
Lucan Novices blanked their
Strathroy counter -parts on the week-
end, shutting them out 9-0 in
Shamrock Hockey action. Leading
3-0 at the end of the fust period,
Lucan increased their advantage by
four in the second and encountered
no"resistance in the third. -
Adam Duskocy scored Lucan's
first goal of the game after he
picked up a pass from Mike Wragg.
Kurtis Hardy followed that with a
goal when he picked up a pass from
Jeremy Brown.
Duskocy pumped in his second of
the night unassisted before the end
of the period.
Ryan Carroll found the mark in
the second after he picked up a re-
bound from a shot by Brent Bella-
my and then Brown scored from
Duskocy to make it 5-0.
Bellamy added another to the list
from Craig Miller and Brown put
the puck in the net for the second
time that night.
In the third period, Josh Apple-
nian sparked his line with a goal.
Jesse Waters and Marty Mitchell
drew assists on the play.
It was the same combination in a
different order which put goal num-

Beckett scdred unassisted, but Bul-
lets were still three goals short.
Despite an attempt to rally in the
final minutes of the game, Exeter
Big V Bullets dropped a tough 8-5
decision to Ilderton last week in
Lambton-Middlesex action.
Brad Thompson opened the scor-
ing after two minutes of play in thc
first period when he picked up a
pass from Greg Agnew, but Ilderton
was quick to reply with a goal of
their own just one minute later
when Chris McQueen found the
mark.
The two teams were locked in a 1-
1 battle until 3:33 of the second
when lldc rton's Adam -Taylor put
his team out in front with a goal.
Scott Parsons tied the game at
two when he scored from Thomp-
son and Agnew 22 seconds later.
Ilderton snatched the Icad away
from Bullets as the second period
wound down, scoring three consecu-
tive goals.
Five minutes into the final peri-
od, Jeremy Brock mounted a come-
back with an unassisted goal for Ex-
eter but Ilderton threw a wet blanket
over them with goals at 7:18 and
8:14.
Shuffleboard
Pearl McKnight took the 294.

Bell Atoms beat Ilderton
Exeter Bell Atoms avenged their
only loss of the season Saturday
when they handed Ilderton Atom B's

for Exeter, scoring three goals and
picking up one assist each.
Bell Atoms took a two goal Icad
in the first period after Schwartzen-

his shot. His first goal, at 3:17,
was unassisted. Assists on his sec-
ond goal were awarded to Ted Hoff-
man and Jcff DeBlock.
Early in the second, Guenther
scored his first goal of the night on
a pass from Hoffman to make it 3-0
in Exeter's favour.
Ilderton got on the board Tess than

reply when Hoffman blasted in a
shot with the. assists going to Brent
Urlin and Jason Clay.
Ilderton scored again at 6:12 to
make the score 4-2 for Exeter.
At 7:03, Urlin connected with
Schwartzcritrubcr to score his first
of the night.
Guenther and Schwartzentruber
each scored once more before the
period was over. Assists on those
goals went to Urlin and Hoffman.
Ilderton started the scoring in the
third after two minutes of play but
again, Exctcr was quick to answer.
