Now standing with a record of nine

changing.
"Our next ten games -- eight of

Mohawks steam.rolling Central league
The Mohawk machine continued to
roll over teams in the OHA Central
Senior B league this week with high -
scoring wins against Harriston and
Hillsburgh.
Mohawks have yet to be defeated in
regular season play.
Head coach Jim Guenther said
Monday that it was still to early in the
season to get a good reading on the
competition. -
"It just happened that we were up -
for them t Hillsburgh ) a few times and
we just beat them bad," he said. "I
don't care who you are, you can't play
a team with four lines with a team
with two lines and expect to win."
Guenther isn't concerned about the
impending first loss for the team,
noting that the players are too ex-
perienced to let that affect their
game.
"At some time in all of their careers
they've lost;" he said. "They've like-
ly all been on the losing team as well
as the winning team at some point.
It was as if Ilarriston went home
after the second period Wednesday
night.
The two teams were tied 2-2 at the
end of the first. Paul Barton and Al
Gates scored short-handed goals to
keep the game even.
That however. was the last that was
heard from Harriston.
Goals by Kris Bedard and Rob
Mackie in the second gave Mohawks
a comfortable lead.
Exeter built oh that in the final
period with six unanswered goals.
