She adds, "The turnout was very disappointing for the sponsoring group and the Red Cross team." Mrs. Brunzlow continues, "Many thanks to the 244 donors who did at: tend our clinic with 27 deferrals mak- ing a total of 217 units of blood being given." "Once again we had many first- time donors both high school students and adults. We hope they continue to attend our future clinics. The demand for blood continues to increase and our quota goes up each year thus we. need to increase our donors, but this is up to each and everyone in Exeter and surrounding area", she said. The co-ordinator concluded "A special thank you goes out to SHDHS AT BLOOD DONOR CLINIC - Marie Brunzlow, co-ordinator of Thursday's Rcd Cross blood donor clinic for the sponsoring Ansablc River Nomads assists Bill Rowcliffe of Hensall. Elinrville 4-H Elimville 1 had their 4-11 party on Wednesday, November 4 at the home of Mrs. Johns. Our mothers were in vited to join us. When the mothers arrived they were greeted at teh door and had a sticker put on their back 'with the name of a fruit or vegetable on it. When everyone had arrived we played a game by trying to guess the name of the fruit or vegetable on the sticker. After the game we all had a taste of some of the recipes that we had made during the Ontario Fruits and Vegetables 4-11 club /87, such as stir - fried fall vegetables with rice, strawberry rhubarb punch, jellied fruit sal'rET ocolate fondue with chunks of apples, pears, cherries and bananas and a vegetable tray with dip.
