County library
The Huron County Public Library
Board would like to announce that the
Ministry of Culture and Communica-
tions has approved their grant ap-
plication for the equipment and shelv-
ing for the Wingham Branch Library.
The Honourable Lily Munro, Minister
of Culture and Communications, has
informed the Board that Ministry sup-
port will amount to $21,280., one-half
the cost of the project.
The Shelving for the new Wingham
Branch Library has been ordered
from Fastfile in Guelph, Ontario. Fur-
nishings and equipment have been
ordered from Huron Business
Machines, Clinton; Carr McLean,
Toronto; Grayhurst Business Sup-
plies Limited, Goderich; Bluewater
Office Equipment, Goderich; and
Skeoch Business Equipment Limited,
Goderich. Leo Sanders, RR 4
Brussels, is building an oak circula-
tion desk that will be oneof the
highlights of the new library.
The new Wingham Branch Library
is rapidly nearing completion and will
open later this Fall. Volunteer labour
will be used to install the shelving and
move the books from the current loca-
tion to the new facility.
The Library Board deeply ap-
preciates the support of the Govern-
ment of Ontario, through the Ministry
of Culture and -Communications, the
Municipality of Wingham and the
Community.

•up to $10,000 for structural changes to
accommodate disabled trainees
