Molting Hawks
suffer loss
Exeter Molting Hawks were at Lon-
don Gardens to play London Firebirds
Thursday night.
Exeter lost 8-3. Scoring for Molting
Hawks was Scott Burton with two and
Jim Pfaff with a single.
Monday night in a return game, Ex-
eter lost 7-3. Molting Hawks scorers
were Bob Jones, Scott Burton and Jim
Empringham.
Molting Hawks Oldtimer Tourna-
ment will be held this weekend with
teams participating from London,
Lucan, Sarnia, and Clinton. A free
dance will be held Saturday night. •

Petite's claim win in Goderich
The Exeter Petite Ringette team
started their season off on a winning
note in Goderich, Sunday.

WIN AWARDS - The Grand Bend Atom Soccer team won the 'B'
division, with players being honored at the annual banquet in
Dashwood last Sunday. Coaches in the back Henri Bysma,and Willy
Forrester presented trophies to Trevor Struth, MIP; left, Simon Des-
jardine, MVP 'and Ben Kaak, MVDefense.
Exeter shuffleboard results
A crowd of 50 people attended
Wednesday afternoon's mixed shuf-
fleboard tournament in Exeter. Each
person played three games.
Murray Greene took top honours in
the competition, scoring 266 to beat
Lorne Marshall who turned in a score
of 256.
Grace Chapman finished in third
spot with 244. She was followed by
Tom Yellow, 232, Eva Shelton, 226,
and Allen Johns, 224.
After four games of mixed shuf-
fleboard action Thursday afternoon,
Verda Lightfoot emerged at the top
with a score of 317.
Howard Johns followed with 303
while Meine Eizenga and Mahlon
Ryckman lied for third place with 258.
Beatrice Richardson rounded out
the top scorers with 252.
Lloyd Lovell claimed high score in
five games Thursday when he shot a

Brian Eickmeier and Doug Wolfe
and tech -man Mike Kells finished the
grass drag season at Hully Gully
November 2 on a winning note.
Doug Wolfe, aboard his Honda Four
Trax, finished first in his class of ATV
drags and ended up third in the
wheelie contest.
Doug also rode the team's 1986
Yamaha Phazer to a third place finish
in B stock.
Eickmeier commandeered the Hul-
ly Gully -sponsored Exciter to a first
place finish in the same race, giving
Team Circus two winning B Stockers
for the day. •
Riding the Phazer, Eickmeier
finished second in C Stock and third
in C Improved Stock, the class in
which that machine is meant to run.
Aboard the Exciter Eiekmeier
came away with first place in B Stock
and first in B Improved Stock. The
Exciter is classed as a . B Stock
machine for drag races.
He also finished third in A Stock and
fourth in AA Stock out of eleven•sleds,
a satisfying finish for jumping up two
•classes above the level of this
machine.
-Tieam members are now busy
preparing for a two day racing event
December 12-13 at Ironwood.
