The St..13oniface girls team of six girls in the 2000 metre race placed •Elizabeth Groot first with a time of 9:53, Laura Lee Creces in fourth place, and Shelley Ducharme in sixth. •Both the grade seven andeight boys and girls teams from Zurich placed second at the meet while the grade three and four boys -placed third, just ahead of Exeter's Precious Blood. Wayne Masse of St. Boniface, Zurich, placed second in the grade three and four boys race with Chad Gilfillan of Exeter close behind in fifth. Charlene Regier and Carrie Ducharme of the St. Boniface grade seven and eight team placed second and fourth respectively in Ihcir 2:,100 metre race. Hawks edged out by Brussels Exeter Hawks split a pair of games on the weekend, trouncing Clinton 11-1 Friday night and then losing narrow- ly to Brussels Saturday by a score of 3-2. • • Dave- Bogart. Hawks head coach, said that the easy victory Friday night against Clinton made it difficult to motivate the Junior D club against Brussels Sati.rday.
