• Mrs. Judi Ross was the master of

ed itrhepherd's costumes, they acted
out the theme of a Shepherd leading
his sheep, and watching over them.
From Luke 13:4 they acted out a

The Puppets gave the J.E.S.U.S.
news. They reported that there were
172 children enrolled this year, with
average attendance of 1491 There
were 40 teachers and support staff.
They told that this year their pro-
ject was to provide money for Niger
in Africa. Because of the severe
drought there farming has been a
disaster. With every dollar the Com-
munity Vacation Bible School raised,
a Cassava tree will be bought for the
farmers in Niger to plant. Tapioca is
made from the root of this tree. It is
a staple crop for food in Niger..
The puppets reported they raised
$242.02. The Canadian Government
will give $4 for every dollar they
raise. Altogether they will be sending
$1210.00 to buy cassava trees in Niger.
The Youth class went on stage.
Dressed as the 1.2 disciples, they ate
their evening meal with Jesus. The
youth playing Jesus then poured
water in a basin. and washed the
disciples' feet. When Peter objected,
Jesus quoted John 13:8. They then
sang Love One Another as 1 have Lov-
ed You.
The Puppets closed singing King of
My Heart. Mrs. Judi Ross thanked all
the people who had a part in helping
with Vacation Bible School. The Pup-
pets thanked everyone for coming;
said good-bye until next year.
Refreshments were served in the
Fellowship Hall.
