Minister of Agriculture Jack Rid-
dell was on hand with members of
Hay township council to witness the
ceremony of the placing of the last
pipe into the Highway 21 waterline.
Hay Reeve Lionel Wilder explain-

works since '198(1, but it was only due
to a recent 2.3 million dollar commit-
ment from the Provincial Govern-
ment that the project has become a
reality.
Now that, the main trunk of the
pipeline is complete, the distribution
into the adjoining areas can now
begin.
"There is a need to put this in
because of the quality of the water."
said Riddell, but he added that-
"nothing
hat"nothing was done until we got the
M.O.E. (Ministry of the Environ-
ment i involved. Ile said that the
IN MOCK PROTEST are Stanley Reeve Clarence, Rau and his
brother Dennis, left. The pipeline will be extended likely -next year.
