With the passing of Losetta M.
Fahrner, Crediton and district has
lost a life -time resident of untold
. talents. These she• shared so
generously with her family, church
and community, until failing health
made it necessary for her to move to
the Blue Water Rest (tome at Zurich,
where she was looked after by a
dedicated and caring staff.
She was a life time member of Zion
(Evangelical U.B.) United Church
serving her church in b number of
capacities. She taught Sunday school;
was a faithful choir member and
served as organist and choir director
for many years. She contributed
much to the (Ladies Aid) U.C.W.
For her untiring efforts, she was in-
stalled as a Life Member of the
Women's Institute in 1985, having
served in the Crediton W.I. for many
years as pianist, secretary and also
as secretary of the district.
Her personal life was a busy one,
sharing with her husband, the late
Emmery Fahrner, the ope ation of
the egg and poultry business from
1939-1966. -
In her earlier years she worked as
a clerk in the Zwicker General Store,
Crediton.
Her personal hobbies consisted of
music, sharing her talents willingly
with her family and friends, and
always ready to help those in need.
She is survived by a son, Calvin,
daughter, Norma and son-in-law
Robert Palmer. Her three grand-
children, Shirley Henry, Beth Budd
and Mark Palmer also mourn her
loss.
Prior to the interment, a special
