She dreams of pur- suing her highschool education in Canada, and of making new friends with the local family. To help Mayuko realize her dream, Interculture Canada is searching for a family in Exeter or nearby to host her. Mayuko was carefully selected by her home country to study in Canada during the 1987/88 school year. Subsequently, her candidacy was accepted by Interculture Canada, a non profit internatural, intercultural exchange organization. Mayuko needs a host family. DWIGHT CONSITT Diane Lucille Dickenson and Dwight Leslie Consitt were united in marriage June 13, 1987 in Cen- tral United Church, Stratford. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dickenson, Stratford and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Consitt, Hensall. Rev. Norman S. Gibson of- ficiated. Organist was Grant Blair and Jim and Kerry Mullinex were soloists. Matron of honour was Maureen Hengeveld. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Dickenson, Lois Dickenson and Barb Zapalater and flower girl was Stephanie Dickenson. Best man was John Hengeveld and guests were ushered by Larry Consitt, Bill Consitt and Chris Dickenson. Ringbearer was Nicholas Dickenson. MR. AND MRS. BRYAN ORTMANNS Kathryn Grace Davey and Bryan Hubert Ortmanns exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Ju- ly 18, 1987 at 6:30 p.m. in Exeter United Church with Rev. Brian Elder officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Alma Davey and the late Donald Davey, Ex- eter and parents of the groom are Mrs. Helga Peeters, St. Marys and Mr. Karl Ortmanns, Exeter. Matron of honour was Janice Bugyra and bridesmaid was Susan Wragg, sisters of the bride. RICHARD BRANDERHORST Jennifer Post and Richard Branderhorst exchanged mar- riage vows Saturday, August 14 in Exeter with Rev. Bernard De- Jonge officiating. The bride is the daughter of Henry and Sadie Post, RR 1 Hay and Bert and Shirley Branderhorst, RR 1 Hen- sall are parents of the groom. Matron of honour was Kristin Streutker, RR 1 Tavistock and bridesmaids were Helen McLellan, Hensall and Carol Ann Post and Christine Post, RR 1 Hay. All are sisters of the bride. Best man was brother of the bride, Ed Post, Dashwood and guests were ushered by Mike Branderhorst, RR 1 Hensall, Ed Cosman, Bramp- ton and Bernie McLellan, Hensall. Flower girl was Tara Truemner, Mitchell; Sylvia Post, sister of the bride was junior bridesmaid. The reception was held at the Hensoll Community Centre. The couple will reside at RR 1 Hensall. It is an enriching human experience for Local teacher at seminar Joan Alexander of John Calvin Christian School, Strathroy, (daughter of Mary Alexander of Hen- sall) was one of over 100 teachers from 15 states, two provinces of Canada and eight foreign countries who are attending the ninth Interna- tional Institute for Christian School Teachers held on the Grace College and Seminary 'campus in Winona Lake, July 18 through 23. Dr. Roy W. Lowrie, Jr. is the Direc- tor of Graduate Studies in Christian School Education at Grace Theological Seminary and also serves as the director of this Institute. The Institute, which is sponsored annual- ly by Grace College and Seminary, offers a program of workshops and in- service training for teachers of Chris- tian elementary and secondary schools. A faculty of 15 top Christian school administrators and educators from across the United States and Canada conducted over 100 sessions from Sun- day morning through Thursday noon. In addition, delegates participated in spontaneous small group discussions and also had regular opportunities for personal consultation with faculty members.
