In Father Morrissey's sermon, he disc:issed the Christ -like spirit which we must all emulate in our lives. The disciples left all (hey had and everyone they loved to follow Christ. Christ never intended us to do that. but how can we imitate therrl? First, Christ had a complete dependence upon God as a living presence, constant companion and comforting counsellor. We must try to become more aware of God's presence, to talk with God and listen to His word. Second, Christ had a love for all people which leaped over alt barriers to embrace the entire human race. Ile saw the possibilities of goodness and greatness in each per- , son. We should see people for their potential and encourage their growth in Christ.
