Big celebrations
at The Villa -
Hello again from the residents of
the Villa. We had a very successful
Nursing Home Week. We began the
week with an enjoyable lunch at the
3AAA Restaurant. Thanks very much
to the waitresses for their patience
and help.
Other events last week included a
pie social and bake sale. The winner
of the afghan was June C. Roberts of
Dashwood. Mrs. Roberts' mother,
Frieda Bierling resides at the Villa.
Congratulations June! Our week con-
cluded with a chicken and chips
barbecue.
Thanks so much to all the families
and friends of the Villa for their sup-
port during our fund raising drive.
Although we came short of our pro-
jected goal, we are pleased to be able
to send $225 to the Alzheimer Society.
We enjoyed the piano recital given
by Mrs. Margaret Coates' class.
These children have worked very
hard and should be proud of their ac-
complishments. Thanks to the Exeter
senior citizens for bingo again this
month.
